We are currently seeking a Sr. Commercial Lines Underwriter to receive, review and analyze commercial lines applications and endorsements to approve, reject, or accept with conditions. Order and evaluate investigative reports on current or potential insureds. Extensive communication with agent-customers and other Company personnel about insureds, policies, coverages, etc. either by phone or written correspondence. Includes management of agent and territorial profitability. Occasional project work and travel is required.
Four year college degree and/or underwriting experience is required. Insurance coursework a plus. A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years commercial underwriting experience preferred. This is an exempt position.
