Exciting opportunity with a National recognized growing Commercial Property and Casualty MGA/Program Manager Insurance Firm. We are looking for an experienced Property & Casualty Underwriter with at least 5 years Underwriting experience for an existing Property Program located in Conshohocken, Montgomery County, Pa.
Qualifications
• 5 Years Property & Casualty Underwriting Experience
• Production Experience with Proven Track Record of Success
• Strong Technical Underwriting Skills
• Smart, hard-working, aggressive, energetic, creative
• Ability to negotiate, influence, and close deals
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills
• Excellent Teamwork Skills
• Strong organizational, time management and communication Skills
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows operating System
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in fast pace environment and meet deadlines
Responsibilities
• Underwrite New & Renewal business according to program Underwriting guidelines
• Risk Selection – Qualify Leads - Identify Markets
• Aggressive follow up and ability to Negotiate deals
• Develop and maintain Strong Broker & Carrier Relationships including agency visitations
